Whether you own property in Costa Rica or not, all theater, ballet, opera and classical lovers in Costa Rica  will be glad to hear that the restoration on the dome or cupola is finally over!

The restoration of the dome had begun several years back financed by the German Government and Spanish Government and on Tuesday night at 8pm, the dome will be properly inaugurated in a show open to the public.

Some attendees will include President Laura Chinchilla and the President of Germany, Christian Wulff.

The Teatro Nacional can hold 1,000 people and is limited to only high quality performances.

The theater was constructed back in 1891 and was financed by a tax imposed on coffee.
